No taxation without representation

personal, politics

Why should I pay taxes, when I don’t feel represented in congress, or around the country? My rights are being denied on a daily basis and have been voted against.

Why should I pay my taxes when I am obviously discriminated against by my own country?

  • Hi. I like the way you write. Will you post some more articles?
  • You know, I never really thought about it like that but you make a wonderful point. I DO want to get married one day and the fact that, as it is now, I can't even have that basic right... its just disgraceful. And what makes it worse? Countries that America would consider underdeveloped, such as Spain and South Africa, have legalized gay marriage.... if those countries, that America usually considers so far behind, why the hell can't we?!

Gyah, sorry, didn't mean to rant in your comments >.>

But seriously, someone with legal backing and the money to support it to the end should really bring that up in court one day.

If you can find a good enough lawyer you might be able to get around it.
