Hair

people

So, yesterday I was at the Grocery store, picking up Spagetti sauce (No, I don’t make my own) and some other things (diet pepsi max!) and I heard the two women behind me.

A: I love your hair, it’s so curly, I wish mine wasn’t so straight :( !
B: But I love your hair, I wish mine wasn’t so curly.

What makes us hate what we have, even though it’s fine?

Oh and I'd also like to add people can't choose what type of hairstyle they are born with. .so there are some limitations, which is why some people are envious of other people's hair.
Or heck just shave off your natural hair, buy a wig that same color as your eyebrows and pass it off as your real hair if its impossible to do so with your natural hair.

lol personally I think straight hair is prettier. . .I have semi wavy hair, so its not too curly, nor straight, but I've always been a fan of the hairstyle.

We don't know what we've got until it's gone

I had like this afro-damaged hair thing going on and everbody was always telling me to straighten my hair. And I'm like thinking what is wrong with all of you, I'd rather have my hair be than spends hundreds of dollars trying fix it and just damage it more.

Because we always want what we can't have.

We all hope to be perfect. I mean, it is in human nature to change, and destroy things that are not perfect. Especially with pressure from the media.
  • I think....people get bored of it looking the same all of the time?
  • I agree with you, totally.

Girls at my school are all like, "MICHELE YOU NEED TO STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR!" And I'm thinking, "HEY YOU NEED TO STOP BURNING YOUR HAIR WITH A HOT IRON."

Humans are so self conscious. And I'm a human, too.
